As Salaamu alaikumWhen I first moved to this country, I was worried about the culture and how would my children cope... up with the Quran and Islamic education. After visiting MAUR, i got the confidence that my children and the next generation wouldn't go astray. I'm thankful to Allah, I found MAUR. I don't think there is any other Madrasah close enough to the way of teaching and Fiqh. What makes it amazing is, this is a self expanding Madrasah where the children who have graduated in Tajweed turning into Ustad's themselves and more importantly they do it only and only to please Allah as every member involved in this Madrasah serve the Madrasah & Community for FiSabilillah . I don't know any other madrasah of such kind who are to the closest of Hasana and Ijaazah. I'd 100% recommend to anyone that I know. I'd rather request everyone to be part of this Madrasah by whichever way (Volunteering to supporting financially) you can.Allah Hafizread more

Alhamdulillah, the Muslim community in Southampton, UK is blessed by Almighty, with an excellent and topmost Madrasah... (@madrasaharshrahman #MAUR @MAUR) run by Jamil Bhai, Abdur-Rahman Bhai and their team. It inspires me and definitely others in the town, from the dedication, effort, hard work they do, to give the knowledge of Quran – covering the vast area - Tajweed, Hifz, Hadeeth, Ahkaam, Arabic writing and many more courses. The teaching is available, with 100% empathy, all around the year without any break. I have never seen or imagine about the trust or Madrasah in the UK with so much dedication to only enhance the skill of Muslim children’s Islamic knowledge and also help to practice it daily life. Alhamdulillah, my son Tajweed has improved a lot and his will to stand with Islamic values have been all-time high.During the lockdown, MAUR has arranged for an online class, suitable for child time table. Alhamdulillah, I’m not worthy of this, but this is Allah SWT’s blessing upon me, that He connected my child's heart to... the Qur’an. My son finds the Tafsir classes very thorough, informative, easy to understand, and very interesting. I like how Jamil always explains the context of revelation and narrates as many relevant ahadith and as many different interpretations and points of view given by different scholars so my son can understand the verses from all angles. Taking these classes has helped him tremendously in having a clear view as to the purpose of our lives, and has brought about a calmness and contentment in his heart. With Allah SWT’s mercy, my son has been more consistent with his prayers and making dua`s, and working diligently towards achieving more khushu and khuzu in his ‘ibadah. He is always trying to perform actions that are pleasing to Allah and that are in compliance with the Sunnah and Shariah.Last but not the least, the virtual classes over the lockdown period were commendable and I'm glad they ensured that all students are in touch with the tutors on a 1-2-1 basis.If you live in Southampton, I would highly recommend.read more
